Answer :

25 , 26 , 27

Solution :

We know that , the consecutive integers differ by 1 .

Thus ,

Let the three consecutive integers be x , (x + 1) and (x + 2) .

Now ,

According to the question , the sum of three consecutive integers is 78 .

Thus ,

=> x + (x + 1) + (x + 2) = 78

=> 3x + 3 = 78

=> 3x = 78 - 3

=> 3x = 75

=> x = 75/3

=> x = 25

Thus ,

1st integer = x = 25

2nd integer = x + 1 = 26

3rd integer = x + 2 = 25 + 2 = 27

Hence ,

Required integers are 25 , 26 , 27 .

m , m+1 , m+2

m +m+1 m+2

3m+3=78

3m=78-3

3m=75

m= 75/3

m=25

hence, three consecutive number are 25,26,27.
