 \frac{5}{8}  +  \frac{7}{12}  \\  \\  =  \frac{5 \times 3}{8 \times 3}  +  \frac{7 \times 2}{12 \times 2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{15}{24}  +  \frac{14}{24}  \\  \\  =  \frac{15 + 14}{24}  \\  \\  =  \frac{29}{24}  \\  \\
