Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Total Chocolates = 160;for rs 480;

Suman want to earn 30% profit;

So for earning 30% profit the selling price is  = 1.3*480 = Rs. 624;

she gave 25 % of chocolates to rakesh;

so rakesh got 40 chocolate for rs. 120;

Now suman have 120 Chocolates for rs. 480-120 = 360;

She need to earn 624-120 = Rs. 504 with rest 120 chocolates;

Selling price = 504; for getting 30% profit on rest chocolates

Step-by-step explanation:

Total chocolate => 160 for price 480

Cost price of 1 chocolate

=> 480/160

=> Rs. 3

Profit of 160 chocolate :-

=> 30% of 480

=> 30/100 × 480

=> 3 × 48

=> Rs. 144

On giving 25% of chocolate :-

=> 25% of 160

=> 25/100 × 160

=> 1/4 × 160

=> 40

There are:-

=> 160 - 40

=> 120 chocolate

According to the question:-

Selling price of chocolate are:-

=> total profit = 120 ( S.P - C.P )

=> 144 = 120 ( S.P - 3 )

=> S.P - 3 = 144/120

=> S.P - 3 = 12/10

=> S.P - 3 = 1.2

=> S.P = 1.2 + 3

=> S.P = 4.2 (Ans)

=> S.P of 1 chocolate => 4.2
