suman has a piece of land, which is in the shape of a rhombus. She wants her two sons to work on the land and produce different crops. She divides the land in two equal parts by drawing a diagonal, if itrs perimeter is 400m and one of the diagonals is of length 120m, how much area each of them will get for his crops ?

Answer:

we know that all sides of rohombus are equal so all sides of rohombus is 400/4=100 m,area of rohombus is product of diagonals.

Step-by-step explanation:

length of 1 diagonal is 120 m

second digonal is 3.34 m

area of total rohombus is product of diagonals so

area=3.34*120m=408 m

area each of them will get 408/2=204 m

Answer:

Since perimeter of Rhombus = 400 m,

each side = 100 m

Using Pythagoras theorem,AO^2 = 100^2 - 80^2 = 10000-6400 = 3600AO = 60SO AC = 2(AO) =120

Area of Rhombus = 1/2 * Product of diagonals = 1/2 * 160 * 120 = 9600 m^2

The area that each of the children get = 9600/2 = 4800 m^2
