Let suman's age be x, then her mother's age= 4x
after 20 years their age will be:suman's=x+20
mother'safter 20 years she will be twice suman's age. so:
4x+20=2(x+20)
=4x+20= 2x+40
=4x-2x=40-20
=2x=20
=x=10
therefore suman is 10 years old.
