Sumit and Reha have taken two cupper wire having same length. Surnit bent the wire in the fomota rectangular shape of which length and breadth are 48 cm. and 40 cm. But Reba bent the cupper wire with same length in the form of a circle. Let us see by calculating which will cover maximum place between the rectangle drawn by Sumit and circle drawn by Reba.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Specific resistance does not depend on the cross section of the wire, it is the property of the material. So both the wires will have the same specific resistance.

Answer:

Area of rectangular shape made by Sumit = length * breadth

Area of rectangular shape made by Sumit = 48 cm * 40 cm = 1920 cm^{2}

Perimeter of rectangular made drawn by Sumit = 2(length + breadth)

Perimeter of rectangular made drawn by Sumit = 2(48 cm + 40 cm ) = 2 * 88 = 176 cm

Circumference of circle is 176 cm.[Because the length of copper wire is same]

So the radius of circle = 28 cm [ using formula  2\pi r = 176 cm

Area of circle made by Reba = \pi r^{2}

Area of circle made by Reba = \frac{22}{7} * 28^{2} = 88*28 = 2464 cm^{2}

Therefore the area of shape made by Reba will cover the maximum place .
