sumit buy a car and pay 240 % tax on duty on it . if the total amount pay by him is 18700000, find the tax duty paid by him

we calculate the tax due to paidby:

$t= \frac{percentage \times prince }{100}= \frac{240 \times 18700000}{100}$;
$= \frac{4488000000}{100}= 44880000$

therefore the tax is 44880000
