Sumit can do a work in 24days . But after doing 3/8 of his work she left and remaining work done by Amita in 10 days . If they work together how many days they take to complete 125% of the same work.

Given that.. Sumit can do a work a work in 24 days

Then he can do a work work in a day = 1/24

and AMITA  can do  a work in 10 days

Then  can do a work in a day = 1/10

When they work together they can do  work in a day = 1/24+1/10=17/120

Then they can do total work in 17/120

 days

=> 17/120

for completing 125 % of work

17/120X125/100=21.428

answerr is 21.428
