sumitra paid $170 for 4 mangoes and 5 oranges. rita paid $200 for 6 mangoes and 2 oranges. find the cost of one mango and one orange.​

no. of orange = x

no. of mangoes = y

5x+4y=$170

2x+6y=$200

10x+30y=$1000

10x+8y=$340

now after subtracting we get

y=$30

and x=$10

cost of one orange and one apple is 30 +10

=$40
