The Cripps mission was an attempt in late March 1942 by the British government to secure full Indian cooperation and support for their efforts in World War II. The missionwas headed by Sir Stafford Cripps, a senior left-wing politician and government minister in the War Cabinet of Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

Sir Stafford Cripps was a member of the war cabinet,he came to india and proposed the following consitutional reforms:
1.India would be given a dominion status when the war would end.
2. A constitutional assembly would be set up . It would consist of the members elected by the lower house of the indian legislature and the representatives of the princely states nominated by their rulers.
3. Provisions would also be made for the protection of the racial and religious minorities.

These three points are the easiest one to understand , if you have gone through the cripps mission, must remember these
