"The man who knew too much" is a story which revolves around a person, named Private Quelch who was suffering from superiority complex.
He was a vain and conceited. He believes that he knows everything. He was condescending.
He likes to show off. He was lanky and stooping and wears horn- rimmed spectacles. Due to his appearance and habit of lecturing, he was nicknamed as professor.
He always interrupts between the lectures. All the fellow soldiers and sergeants hates him. Due to his habit of interrupting, he was given a big punishment. He was chosen as the cook for permanent cook house duties , but he didn't learn any lesson. He remained proudy and vain.
