Mitosis : Mitosis is a type of cell division in which the daughter cell has just the equal number of chromosomes as the parent cell. It is also called as equational cell division because there are equal number of chromosomes in the daughter cells. This type of cell division is seen for the growth, repair and worn out cell and occurs mostly in all the cells of the body.
