Explanation: in the poem ek phool ki chah the poet tries to explain about th inequalities in the society.a father who has a daughter named sughiya is the main character of the poem.his daughters last wish was to get a blessed flower(phool) from the temple.which inturn implies the name given to the poem ek phool ki chah.father setts off to fulfill his daughters wish but fails because he is beaten up by the temple workers.he tells that he is not a sinner and is allowed to go to the temple. but the is beatep up by the workers and taken o the court.the court gives one day jail living and when he returns he finds his  daughter dead.
