This poem is based on the cricket and the ant, where the cricket doesn’t work during summers and because of this he was not able to enjoy or eat the food during winters. On the other hand, the ants work all the summer to eat in winters. The cricket at last comes to the ants in winters to get some food, but the ants refuse. The moral of this poem is that we should work harder for our own sake and for the time of troubles. Moreover, always remember that todays saving is tomorrows income.
