In this story there was a mountain which look as a face of human that's called 'the great stone face' it was the work of nature and formed on the side of a mountain by rocks and actually looks like a human face.
There was a boy Earnest who lived little bit far away for that great stone face mountain with his mother.Everyday he sit beside window and stared at the great stone face and want to know that_could ever the great stone face speaks like us if it can then how pleasant it's voice will!and also wanted to see a man with such a face.One day his mother told him a story of old prophency about the stone face was that at some future day there a child should be born,who will grow up to become the greatest person of his time and that child would look like this stone face!Earnest never forgot this story.He was so dutiful and helpful to his mother.
One day a rumour spread throughout the valley that the resemblance to the great stone face,had appeared at last his named Gathergold.But he wasn't he came to his native valley for passed his ends days of his life where he had been born and nothing at all,after somedays he died.
After few days,again happen so, another boy of the valley returned and was famous commander.People welcomed him as the great man for his likeness of the stone face but Earnest again couldn't see any likeness between them.
Time passes,Earnest grew old but most of his time he waste on gazing the great stone face and desire to see a person similar to stone face.
When he totally became old the people of the valley appreciate that the face of Earnest is exactly look like the Great stone face! But Earnest couldn't believe but everyone in the valley believed that only Earnest was the great man who bear to resembled the Great Stone Face.

One afternoon , a mother with her son, Ernest , was at the door of their cottage. They were talking about the great stone face. It was clearly visible in the bright sunshine. Thousands of people lived there. Everybody there, was familiar with the great stone face. It was the work of the nature. One day the great stone face smiled on Ernest and looked kindly . He wished to hear its pleasant voice. He longed to see a man with such a face in order to love him dearly. There was a man called gather gold he had left his native many years ago he had became quite rich man there. He decided to return to his native valley. There was a rumour that gathergold looked like the great stone face. Gathergold had the face of an old man with yellow skin. The people considered him the image of the great stone face Ernest gazed up the valley. The great stone face seemed to reject gathergold as its likeness.
Ernest had grown up to be a young man. Everyday, he would go off by himself and gaze upon the great stone face. He wondered why its likeness was delaying its appearance. By his time gathergold had become poor and died without establishing his likeness with the stone face. After son of the valley had joined the army as a soldier many years before. He had be come a general by then and came to be known as blood and thunder on the battled. In his old age, he desired to return to his valley. The people considered him as the likeness of the great stone face. On his return, he was welcomed warmly. The gathering mistook him as the greatest man of all time. Ernest failed to recognise any likeness between Blood and thunder and the great stone face. His heart assured him that the real face had still to come.
