Answer:
Which standered question is this and which board
Explanation:
The story “The Bose came to Dinner”, written by Sushma Sahay, depicts the current scenario in the most homes-the generation gap. In those days I still remember we lived with our great grandparents, grandparents our parents and we were all happy.
But today we have this new concept of generation gap and so the nuclear family. In the story too the writer writes about Mr. and Mrs. Shamnath who invite their boss home for dinner. They want to enjoy the party but Mr. Shamnath was not happy having his mother amidst the guest and Mrs. Shamnath wanted her mother in law out of the house.
But as luck had it, the guest suddenly saw Mr. Shamnath’s mother and they were happy to talk to her about the village and folk songs.
They admired her phulkari, an embroidered piece of cloth and asked her to knit for them.
It is not generation gap, but it is one’s own mind filled with negative thoughts about our parents which we should get over and try to take care of them with some dignity after all old age is at everybody’s doorstep.
