• Now, in the story of 'In the Jaws of the alligator' the main character of was "Ume". Ume is Taita's husband, fought for his beloved wife she was actually caught by a crocodile.
• Nevertheless he managed to save the woman from the Alligator, but due to major blood loss, she dies.
• Ume, Taita, and their 8-year-old son went to collect conch shells. It was Taita,who was picking up the shells. Their son kept a close eye on the crocodile.
