The poet calls the young child to his lap and asks him to talk of the pouring rain and the harsh winds . Then promises to narrate the tale, if the child thanks the poet with affection the poet was lost in the mountain with no civilization other then that of tribal who attempted to Rob bypassers yet feared the carnivorous . The rains , dark and the winds were harsh and hence the trees referring to the general flora and fauna were damaged in addition to property .
