one of my favourite novels is the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. It is basically about a boy named Eragon who finds a dragon egg and from the moment the egg hatched for him, he got bounded to the big history of Dragon Riders. The whole story revolves around how he stopped the dragon killer Galbatorix from imprisoning the last dragons left in the enchanting world of Alagaesia. It also shows the deep bond a Rider with his dragon. The Cycle has currently four books.... Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr and Inheritance.
