The big brother is a story written by Munshi Premchand . ln this story, there are two brothers. The elder brother is five years elder to the younger brother and three grades ahead. They live in a hostel. The elder one is hardworking while the younger one is naughty and hardly studied . Due to badluck the elder brother fails twice while younger one top twice . This makes the younger one feel proudly . One day elder brother saves the younger brother from falling down and days that I'll always be your elder brother no matter how many times i fail . Next year they came same grade. He said that even if he erased the grade gap b/w them,he cannot erase the five years age gap between them and that he will always remain his big brother and it is his duty to correct him and lecture him.
In the end, the younger brother realised the importance of his elder brother and both of them ran after the kite together.
The story shows that no matter how intelligent we are form our elders , we must respect them and they always have the right to lecture us and scold us , when they need to correct us.
