Answer:

"A Long to Freedom", by Nelsom Mandela is about the struggle of freedom of South-Africa. May 10, 1994 was the day when Mandela was about to vow as the first black president. South Africa was becoming a new born democratic country. Nelson Mandela took an oath as the first black president.

Many dignitaries from Various countries had come to be the part of that most significant day. In his speech Mandela thanked all the dignitaries. Mandela assured his people that his country would never ever experience the same supression of one by another. Democracy had been established in South Africa and a government of no discrimrination had too established.

Two National Anthems were sung by the people of South Africa to symbolize the day. Mandela recalled the boer movement in which Black skinned people were exploited by White people. He said that South Afriac had got many stars due to such supression of peolpe.

"People must learnt to hate because if they hate so they can be taught to love as love comes from opposite circumstances", He says. He says a brave man is not that who does not feel afraid but that who conquers it.

In life a man has twin obligations first to his family, to his parents, to his wife and to his children on the other hand he has obligation to his country, to his pepole and to his community. Everyone fulfills his duty as per his inclination. But it was tough to fulfill in a country like South Africa.

As Mandela became an adult he understood that his freedom was only an illusion in fact he was slave of exploitation. He also understood that only he was not a slave but his other family members were also.

Freedom is also mandatory for them who supressed others in past. They also have right to have it as snatcher of others' freedom is a prisioner of the same.
