Answer:
The story is about women called Lucy Quinn; everybody in her society hated her because she never had a family of her own. She was orphaned while young, and her siblings left her. She also was not able to get married; thus, she remained alienated by others in the society she lived in. Despite the alienation, she was rich and had her social life, and she was at the forefront of influencing the community. Later her life took a turn after meeting a young boy called Chester who’s treated as her own.
