From his childhood he was influenced by his father, Jainulabdeen.Though he was not highly educated but he had vast spiritual power which virtue also helped kalam to achieve his dreams.Dr kalam had adopted emotions and kindness from his mother.

Kalam from his childhood used to sell newspapers for earning money.

In his Biography 'Wings of Fire'he stated that he had a very secure childhood 'Emotionally' and 'Materially'. And this virtue helped him in his future life as he had strong roots.
