This story is about a young boy, who instead of being a successive thief transforms into a wise man because of trust in friendship and humanity of the person he meets( Anil) . In the beginning, he observed Anil and decided to choose him as his next former employer ( to be robbed). He tried his best to flatter him into his words and get indulged in his life. He introduced himself as Hari Singh which was a fake name. They had a deal to live together that Hari singh will cook the food which was a lie by Hari singh and Anil would provide in shelter and space . Anil taught him to write his name and also decided to teach him writing whole sentences and adding numbers for which Hari Singh was very greatful as it could help him lead a wise life and achieve great heights. Hari used to make tea in the morning and used to buy daily supplies in which he made a profit of a rupee per day . one evening when Anil came back home with the bundle of notes made Hari Singh remember is real work. but this time Hari Singh so it more difficult to rob Anil as he was the most trusting person he ever met. he mentioned that if he would Rob Anil this won't make him cry because of loss of money but because of loss of trust . when Anil was asleep Hari decided to rob him . silently Hari Singh put his hand under the mattress to pull out the notes and decided to catch the 10:30 Express to Lucknow. he was carrying 600 rupees in fifties. when he reached at the station he directly rushed towards the platform where the Lucknow Express was just moving out . he could have got into the train but due to some reason he hesitated to do so . in front of his eyes the train was gone away . now standing at the station he did not knew to spend the night as the only person she could have trusted the most was the one he had robbed. It was still raining. while thinking about the nature of the the people whom he had robbed key move toward the Bazaar. he noticed the notes which were dampen from the rain. after so much of thinking he decided to go back to Anil so that he could learn to read and write to become a big man one day . he ran towards Anil's house and open the door quietly and tried to put back the notes on their place . next morning when he woke up under was already awaken and when he saw Hari Singh He stretched his hand towards him offering him a 50 rupee note . he told him that he would now pay him regularly .
