These are the main roles of the circulatory system. The heart, blood and blood vessels work together to service the cells of the body. Using the network of arteries, veins and capillaries, blood carries carbon dioxide to the lungs (for exhalation) and picks up oxygen.

⭐ The circulatory medium to carry food, oxygen and other substances. It comprises of Blood, Lymph and Tissue fluid.
⭐ A system of tubes to transport the body fluids - The blood vessels and Lymph Vessels.
⭐ A pumping or organ to pump blood through these vessels - The Heart.

▶ Chambers of Heart :
⭐ Auricles.
⭐ Ventricles.
⭐ Cuspid Valves.
⭐ Semilunar Valve.

⭐ Arteries, veins and capillaries carry blood.
⭐ Normal Arteries carry oxygenated blood and pulmonary arteries carry deoxygenated blood. Normal arteries are deep seated.
