Summary of daddy long legs
Answers
story of an orphan girl, Jerusha Judy Abbott, sent to college by a mysterious benefactor. She's instructed to write him letters on the proviso that he will never answer, or likely even read them
Daddy long legs are a type of spiders. They eat bugs that they can catch in their web. Such as ants, other spiders, and cockroaches. There are many spiders that are very poisonous and deadly, but a daddy long leg's venom is not that strong. If they touch your skin, nothing very bad will happen. Their scientific name is actually: Pholcidae. There is a legend that daddy long-legs spiders have the most potent venom of any spider, but that their fangs are either too small or too weak to puncture human skin; the same legend is also repeated of the harvestman and crane fly, also known as "daddy long-legs" in some regions.
I hope this helps!
