It is true that money can't buy everything in life, like family, peace and happiness, but believe me, being poor is no fun.
Without money, you can't give good education to your kids, you can't marry a good match, you can't buy a nice home with separate room for all your family members etc.
In modern society, the one who has money is respected, and the poor, no matter how knowledgeable he is, is ignored.
If you have kids, it is your responsibility to fulfill their demands, and you can't do that without money either.
Money allows you to do what you want, and raise your family well.
