firstly health means state of complete physical ,mental and social well being

it not means to be disease free only

now there is a difference between being disease free and healthy

person who is disease free is not suffering from any disease or derangement of functioning of body

the person who is healthy in a state of physical ,mental and social well being

disease free is referring to individual person

healthy is referring not only to the individual but also to social and community environment

a person who is healthy may or may not have good health

but a person who is healthy would be disease free

the second thing that there to be understand in this chapter is the Symptoms and Signs of disease

symptom is a change in normal functioning that only a person can we can feel or the person who who

suffering can tell but kind of a disease is changed in the bodily function or structure so this can be seen by the doctor or any person

now comes how diseases are caused diseases

vectors: are animal or insect that carry infectious agents from one person to another and spread disease

and pathogens : are disease causing organisms or infectious agents

then comes are types of diseases

that is acute on chronic congenital or acquired infections and non-infectious

acute diseases last for a short period of time and chronic diseases last for a long time

congenital diseases are the diseases present from birth

and acquired diseases are diseases which we get after birth

infectious diseases are those diseases which could be spread or could spread

and non communicable or noninfectious diseases are which do not spread from one person to another

then comes the principles of treatment

so in principles of treatment and prevention you will be studying of some kind of pathogens and the kind of diseases and how to prevent those disease

then transmission of diseases can be through any kind of contact by using some material of the or some article of the infected person or through some vector some sexual contact or something like that
