Listening to Bruce Cockburn’s new Bone on Bone this morning which is a good album and there’s a song called 3 Al Purdys regarding a guy on street corner trying to hawk the rendition of three Purdy poems for 20 dollars.

I haven't read any of Canadian Al Purdy’s poems before but found out and have done so this morning while some quite Bukowski-like but this one about being older, loss and remembering is less stylised in that way.

Alfred Wellington Purdy was a famous canadian poet.

He had written 39 books of poetry.

The listening of myself is one of the famous poem by him.
