Mr. Toad's Adventure
The latest season of the eighteenth series is Toad's Adventure. Toad, Oliver's brake van, is continuously telling him about the occasion he bolted from the salvage yard to return to Sodor. Toad was there at the time, but as they blast down and up the Little Southwestern line, he's heard stories a hundred times.
Toad gets to hear to James' boasting on the journey, which is a pleasant change from Oliver's interminable ramblings. Toad soon becomes afraid that they are travelling too quickly, but James swears that they are not. James smashes a twig on the line as they blow up Gordon's Hill. The branch passes beneath the train and separates James from his vehicle. Toad and the trucks are suddenly tumbling back down the slope. Toad makes every effort to bring the speeding train to a halt.
