Firstly i will tell you the theme of this lesson ' Mrs. Packletide's Tiger '
The story focuses on the pretentions , affections , hypocrisy and competitive rivalry of the high class ladies. Circumstances which seemed to be favourable had turned out to be a misadventure. Heavy incidental force one to give up everything like Mrs. Packletide.
SUMMARY
It's a story of two rich women , Mrs. Packletide and Miss Loona Bimberton, who had been engaged in war with each other for fame. Once Loona flew eleven miles in an airplane piloted by an Algerian pilot and that becomes news. Loona Bimberton was discussed and admired by all. With her patience burning and revenge planned , Mrs. Packletide made news for all wrong reasons , by killing tiger. Though it appeared she had killed the tiger., but it was the bait that was shoot dead. The old tiger died of a heart failure. Miss Mebbin who was a witness of this, blackmailed her to sell out money to let her buy a weekend cottage.

Those who considers themselves smart enough to outshine others often get oversmarted themselves . The actions of these manipulative people can recoil them. One must not ever forget that one who can bite, can also get bitten.
