‘My Boyhood Days’ is Rabindranath Tagore’s memoir of his childhood. It recalls his life as a little boy, written with clarity, when he was in his late-seventies.

He writes about the frugal life he had to live under his father’s instructions and guidance. Originally titled ‘Chelebela’ (in Bengali), it detailed the everyday experiences of young Rabindranath, which helped him in his journey to become one of the world’s greatest literary figures.
