‘My Nose’ is a poem on the author’s abnormally large and bulbous nose. Though he often finds it the subject of ridicule and jokes, he writes that it gives him a regal look and makes ladies notice.
He is rather proud of his unusual ‘asset’, which he proudly claims, makes trees lose their leaves when he sneezes!
He has one last request, and that is when he dies, the casket maker should make a hole on the lid of the casket, so that his nose can stick out and smell the flowers.
Gabriel Liebermann (1952 – 2005) was an American poet.
In the poem, the nose, he wrote about the increase of nose size on lying and then mention about the meal to meal work that requires nose.
He also mentioned the requirement of the nose for a sneeze, smell and how it keeps growing up with time.
Even after dying we require nose to smell the flower on top of our casket.
