Summary:

Autumn has appeared with its freezing weather. The leaves of the trees are shedding. Even the nurses' flowers that grow under a tree cannot survive the weather.

The neighbours are always gossiping or conspiring. The labour class suffer in this cold. The nightingale is no longer the muse who keeps on singing, it is  quiet. No saviour or angel will come to rescue the nature from destruction and death. The forests are leafless and lifeless.

The waterfall from the mountain is no longer pleasing to drink to those thirsty travellers. Nature is cold and almost empty.
