taking the title into account, it seem like a poem to inspire labor rights movements not to give up the fight, since the greed of corporate oppression will one day lose, because what they're doing is wrong, and what is right will always win

The poem ‘An Inspiration’ by Ella Wheeler Wilcox is a very thought provoking poem that discusses the futility of war and the weakness of the strong.

EXPLANATION:

It addresses all the weaker sections of society, the defeated in wars, the exploited and dictated that the war is actually not lost. However strong the rulers may be, however powerful the winners might seem but actually none of them are actually victorious. All have failed in the war of righteousness.

The poet encourages the weak by the recurring refrain:

‘No question is ever settled

Until it is settled right.’

It is a strong yet gentle reminder to fight on in life’s war and not to submit to the power of the tyrants, not to lose hope, not to be crushed down but to strive on as no war is ever won unless it is fought for the right reason or justice.
