The poet is praying to the god that god should not save him from danger but, prepare him for danger so that he can get out of danger himself. He tells god to not console him in grief but prepare him for the sadness. He says god bless that if he does not get a companion, god should make him so able that he can carry himself alone. If he is facing loss then he should be so strong mentally that he does not go in depression. The poet at last says that god should not to lighten his burdens but help him carry them gracefully and God should not very let the poet doubt on him.
