Explanation:

Barbara A Huff, in the poem The Library, brings out the beauty and happiness one finds on entering a library.

The exterior of the building may be of concrete, steel, and glass but once you enter a library, you are transported into a magical world of books.

Each book has a different tale to say. Where one transports you into the land of deserts and the camel, all the way making the heat burn your head, another one transports you to a place of ice and snow.

You get into the magical world of airplanes and rockets of birds and animals, jungles, forests and deserts, while all the while just sitting in the library.

That, according to Barbara is the potential of books. They hold a virtual world open for you. This magical journey of books is depicted in the poem. ‘The Library’.
