Summary of poem "the road not taken"?
Answers
Hi there
Summary on ' The Road Not Taken ' :-
The poet was walking down woods when he faced the option of two different paths. He could not walk down both. He inspected the path till where it was visible under the dense trees to determine which one was better. Finally, he took the other path which appeared to be greener and less walked upon. Later on, after walking a few steps, he realized that both the paths were similar and their one was also worn out.
He realizes that his decision of walking down the other path some other day would never materialize as one path leads to another ( more options and further choices ) and so on. The privilege of going back to the previously left path would never be available to him. He think of the future, after many years, he will say that he walked down the path which seemed greener and less traveled.
His choices in the past will matter the most and will make him what he becomes in the future.
Thanks

Answer:
The poet says that once, he was walking down the road and reached a fork. He could walk over one of the paths only. He took time to choose the right path. He inspected them to decide which was a better option and then chose the one which seemed less walked over. He kept the other one for some other day although he knew that he would never get the chance to walk over it. He would go further on the chosen path and not get a chance to go back on it. As he walked on the chosen path, he realized that both the paths were similar. He felt that his future depended on the choice that he made.
