Ngungi Wa Thiongo is  a Kenyan renown  Kenyan Novelist and short story Writer.

Ngugi wa Thiongo is one of the best Novelist in Africa.

His writings are of major concern to human experiences such as

• Social Justice
• Colonization
• Neo -colonization
• Discrimination
• Corruption

Ngugi wa Thiongo advocated for the abolition of English language to promote local language in his writing.

He is from Kikuyu Kenyan community and most of his writings are in Kikuyu just to promote the Kikuyu language instead of the English Language which  he argued in his Document entitled "Decolonizing the Mind"
