The poet feels very happy to press his head on the pillow during a rainy night. Thousands of his old memories  come back to him. He recalls all those as he listens to the latter of the rain. Then he remembers his mother, who used to spent some time with her children before going to sleep. Her fond looks were longer on him. He lists these while he listens to the latter of the rain.
