Santosh yadav was only woman in the world who has scaled Mt everest twice. She was born in a society where a birth of the son was regarded as blessing. When she was in her mothers womb a great sage blessed her mother for a boy child

but she rejected and asked for a girl child.

Santosh grown in a woman dominated environment. She was very rebl.

When she was 16 year's her parents offers for marriage but she rejected and demanded for her higher education. And she also told that she. could do part time jobs so her parents agreed to send her for Delhi.

And she joined to jaipur for higher education.

There she noticed that some people climbing aravalli hills and disappeared. She thought to find them. When she went there she found some Hill climbers who offered her to climb.

It was the beginning of her journey.

In her trucking to Mt everst she saved one of her mate. And she also brought 500 kg garbage for Mt everest.

  • For higher education, she went to Jaipur.
  • She got busy with Uttarkashi's Nehru Institution of mountaineering without taking permission from her parents.
  • When she was 20 years she scaled Mt Everest and became the youngest woman to climb.
  • Within a year she climbed Mt Everest again and become the only woman in the world to achieve it.
  • She also helped some climbers by giving her oxygen. Not only this much she also collected 500 kg of garbage from Himalayas.
