Salvatore is the son of an Italian fisherman.

He falls in love with a pretty girl whom he could not marry because her parents would not agree. So, he marries an ugly girl and has children.

After his marriage, Salvatore’s luck changed and he begins to possess things that he could not even dream of earlier.

He is a sensitive hard working man who continues to toil even when he falls sick.
