With what I remember,
The responds to the poet, that it rises to the sky and fall from the high heavens, to wash away the droughts and dust from the surface of the earth, it came to give life to the lovely earth.
It gives life to the seeds buried under the earth which would sprout out, living again.
The rain flows into rivers and from rivers to seas and again returning to its source.
The rain is compared to music which returns to its source, cared or not.
Hope this helps.
