The adventures of Mason is a very interesting story written by Washington Irving [April 3, 1783 - November 28, 1859]. he was an American short story writer, essayist, and the development of the 19th century It's a story of a poor man named Mason.Mason had a big family but no work.One day an old priest comes to his home and gives him a job but with one condition that Mason would move blindfolded and obeyed the priest.Mason agreed.He worked by repairing an old volt.The priest offers him a piece of gold every day.After sometime the priest did not come.Mason had no job and no money.One day a man comes to him and offers him work.Mason moves to his house.The man tells him that his house is haunted.Then Mason realized that this is the same priest's house and agrees to live in house and get it free from ghost but asks for money.Mason lives in the house with his family and the ghost never troubled him.Soon Mason became rich.
