Summary of "The Ball Poem"
The poem is about a boy and ball where the boy looses his ball in the sea water and the ball was so dear to the boy that everyday he used to come to the harbour with the hope of getting the ball back.
The poet has represented the ball as the symbol of past memories and lost childhood. We may buy a new ball but not everything can be bought with money. One can buy the new ball but can't but the lost memories.
The poem also teaches us that we should know the way of the world and the world doesn't stop with the loss of few things we must learn to part with old memories and stand up to walkforth to create new memories.
Hope it helps!!❤❤
