Sir Francis Osbert Sacheverell Sitwell, 5th Baronet (6 December 1892 – 4 May 1969) was an English writer. His elder sister was Edith Sitwell and his younger brother was Sacheverell Sitwell. Like them, he devoted his life to art and literature.

Osbert Sitwell is an excellent writer who has written various poems. His writings also included suspicions on the society.
By this poem, he conveyed to his followers that, teenage is not certainly the best happy time in a man’s life.
He feels that during teenage people make useless decisions and do senseless things.
He conveys that old age is the best age as men act matured and do things which will keep them secured.
