Summary

Chief Seattle wan a significant and valuable person in the early America history. He was the chief of two different tribes which is called 1. Suquamish and 2. Duwamish. He fights for the  rights of his people.

His speech was given to his people when white people wanted to buy Native land of his tribe and in return offered them to live in a small place in the land which is comfortable enough for them to live in it. As an experienced person as he have seen many Native killed and experienced many thing he accepted the offer as he doesn't want get more Native killed by rejection of the proposal.

His speech was for his people to understand their weak position in politics and helping them to understand transition they were to now force to make. It is considered as a legendary speech by Native people of America to do this day as it sum up their unfortunate situation in front of Whites.
