Summary of the play the unexpected by ella adkins
We are asked to write the summary of the play "The Unexpected." The summary of the play "Unexpected" Will be as under:
Mrs. Parker is informed by Alec and Tom that two prisoners have escaped from the facility. Mrs. Parker is so confused by the news that she unintentionally drops the tea cozy she was holding. She couldn't speak.
The village constable's nephew was Joe Badger. Alec and Tom don't think highly of Joe since they often take advantage of him to irritate him.
Joe believed he was a superior sleuth. Old lady Mrs. Parker, who lived alone close to the prison and discouraged numerous visitors from calling on her, was the person he suspected. Additionally, Joe had seen a high-end Bentley Sports Car parked somewhat covertly in an old shed. This wasn't something she typically owned.
Mrs. Parker was actually Mrs. Felton. Roger Felton, her son, was wrongly accused of forging a check and received a three-year term. She had rented a cabin close to the jail so she could aid in his escape. She had prepared a car for him as well as a case of upscale clothing for this.
Even though Joe is a brilliant detective, he makes grave mistakes. When the prisoner enters, the other three assert that he is not the assailant, but Joe insists that he is. After hearing Joe's tale, a second man—posing as the jail warden—asks Joe to take the prisoner in the car. To be sure, Joe drives after the police car. He claims stupidly that he knows the police password because his uncle was a cop. In exchange for letting the real criminal go, Joe reveals the password. Joe's arrogance is his downfall.
