The poet, T S Eliot describes a dog as a simple and playful soul without any complications. Dogs pretend that they like to fight but they bark more often than they bite except the Pekes ( Pekinese dog). They are intelligent, affectionate and friendly lion- maned dogs. Dogs in our neighbourhood are usually clownish and often behave in a silly manner. They easily become friends. A little petting, chucking them under the chin or shaking their paw make them so happy that they bark, run about playfully and laugh loudly. They are easy-going and will respond to any sound.
