The poem the carpenter’s complaint follows the journey of a drunken carpenter.
He is complaining to no one in general while sitting in the bar about his friends who died and his son who didn’t give him the job of the coffin maker.
He said that if he is strong enough to build a house then he can build a coffin too.
It is the emotional journey of a man.
